Brent
Willett has lived in the Triangle area since 1977. A retired
elementary school teacher, he earned a Bachelor of Science
and Masters degrees from the University of Louisville. He
currently holds a Teaching Licensed in the state of North
Carolina in seven areas. During his career as a teacher,
he received several awards for his involvement in education,
such as the Central Carolina Bank Gold Star Teaching Award
and the Jaycee's Outstanding Young Educator Award. He incorporates
this same level of professionalism into his home inspection
service.
As a Licensed General Contractor in the state of North Carolina,
his building experiences include building his own residential
and investment properties, speculative houses, and custom
homes. He has experience in every phase of construction,
an experience that has proved to be invaluable to him as
a home inspector.
When you work with Mr. Willett, you will receive a professional,
objective visual examination of the conditions of a home
that exceeds North Carolina's and The American Society of
Home Inspector's standards. Mr. Willett realizes that the
main purpose of a home inspection is to determine whether
there are any major defects or system inadequacies. However,
he goes even further. He provides the buyer with an extensive
orientation to the home they are purchasing. The client
leaves the inspection with a wealth of knowledge about the
house such as improvements to the home, general maintenance
tips, where things are and how they work. He will also identify
some minor deficiencies related to the house. These minor
issued make for a nice Saturday morning project list.
